Dr. Shitesh Malewadkar is a reputed General and G.I. Laparoscopic Surgeon specializing in Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery, practicing in Mumbai. He pursued his M.B.B.S. in the year 2012 from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai. He did post-graduate degree in F.C.P.S. General Surgery (MCI) from M.G.M. Medical College & Hospital, Aurangabad. He did Fellowship in Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) with Liver Transplant under MUHS in 2018. He completed his Minimally invasive and GI surgery fellowship in 2019 and passed D.N.B. General Surgery in 2020 from Mumbai. He has expertise in performing general surgeries like open hernia repair, laparoscopic & open appendectomy, laparoscopic and open cholecystectomy, emergency laparotomies, colorectal surgeries, and H.P.B. surgeries, hemorrhoid, fissure, and fistula surgeries, lipoma & cyst excision, etc. He has experience in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.

He works in various specialty hospitals throughout Mumbai and earned a reputation to add to his GI service. He is also attached to different hospitals of Mumbai such as tilak hospital, Parel hospital, Shalyak hospital, Bhatia hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, and Jaslok Hospital.
